The 2019 BioAg World Congress was held in New Delhi India on February 18-20, 2019. The deputy director of the Chemical Information Department of CNCIC and chief editor of China Fertilizer Market Weekly (CFMW) Leo Li was invited to participate in the industry event.
The BioAg World Congress is the first international conference to be held in India. IPL from India gave great support to the conference as the title sponsor of the conference. The Tradecorp from Spain and Valagro from Italy attended as co-organizers. In addition, more than 20 world-renowned companies in the fields of microbiology, fertilizers, and biological control sponsored the conference. China National Chemical Information Center (CNCIC) and CFMW were the media partners of the conference and appeared in the conference manual and the venues for the promotion.
The core of the conference was “Communication, Collaboration, Sharing and Innovation”. The conference lasted two days and consisted of eight sections. The sustainable development of agriculture was the first chapter of the conference. In this section five guests gave speeches.
Among them, Guiseppe, CEO of Valagro, Italy, gave a report called “Sustainable Bio-Agriculture Solutions: Change, Challenges and Opportunities”. Since then, more than 20 speakers had presented a wonderful conference report for the delegates.
On that night, the famous microbiology company Akunus as title sponsor of the conference held an Indian styled welcome dinner. The joyful India dance performances and the traditional headscarf ornaments showed different Indian style for the delegates.
During the banquet, the BioAg Young Elite Awards Ceremony was grandly held. The daughter of Mr. Vinod, CEO of Geolife India, was honored.
During the dinner, Leo Li took a picture with Vinod from Geolife and sales director of Tradecorp's Asia-Pacific Juan.
The conference continued on the second day. The theme of the first chapter of morning conference was “The Opportunities and Challenges of Bio-Agricultural Investment and Sustainable Development”. In this section, Leo Li did the report “Should we be investing in Chinese markets? The theme report of The Fertilizer & Biostimulant landscape in China” and did a conference business promotion of the 2019 CNCIC Global Special Fertilizer Conference which will be held in late June of this year at the end of the report. The report received praise from the participants present.
The two-day conference was very informative. More than 300 representatives from all over the world attended the event and more than 40 guests brought a wonderful conference report. The delegates shared their opinions and made suggestions for the development of the world's bio-agriculture.
